I stayed at LMBK Surf House for 1 week and it was an amazing experience! Big shout out to Salim, Lan, Lean, for helping me to improve my surfing. Everything’s organized really smoothly here: they plan trips around the best tides and waves, match people up by experience, pick the right boards for the day, and stay on top of conditions. Makes the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable, and lets you really focus on improving your surfing. The camp has a nice social environment, lots of good vibes. All the instructors and staff are super cool. There’s a very nice lounge area and pool for guests to hang out. Additionally, the rooms are clean and comfortable (more like a nice hotel than a hostel) , they make your beds daily which is reaaaallly nice. Un placer haber pasado unos días en este Hotel! Estuve con mi pareja 5 días, aprendiendo y practicando surf y fue una experiencia increíble. Queremos hacer mención especial a Suzi, Riska, Nicole y Mad, por todo el buen trato que nos dieron y lo atentas que estuvieron a cada momento para atender nuestras consultas o solicitudes, siempre con amabilidad y una sonrisa😊 También queremos nombrar a Toya, Baby Juna y Ode, por esa profesionalidad y cercanía a la hora de dar os la formación en el surf y el surfskate. Totalmente recomendable si quieres aprender a surfear y pasar buenos ratos en la Isla de Lombok. I visited LMBK a month ago, and I can truly say I’m completely satisfied with the experience. I started as a beginner, and the progress was genuinely noticeable after just one week. Special shoutout to Marbun, who put in a lot of effort to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Die Lage ist Top (mitten in Kuta)! Die Leute vor Ort sind super freundlich und Aufmerksam. Das Surfcamp konzentriert sich wirklich voll auf das Surfen. Es wird auf jedes Level individuell eingegangen, mit der passenden Board Größe, dem richtigen Spot in der richtigen Gruppe. Alle zwei Tage gibt zwei Surf Sessions und viele tolle Programmpunkte, wie Skate Surfen, Yoga, Family Dinner. Desweiteren werden Fotos und Videos gemacht, mit anschließender Analyse der Trainer. Es sind immer viele Leute dort, welche häufig wechseln (durch die flexiblen Anreise-  & Abreisetage) das wird aber sehr gut gemanaged! Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, welches wirklich schön und modern eingerichtet war. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort und können es nur jedem empfehlen. Man macht gute Surf-Fortschritte dort. I just left LMBK after my second trip there and it's hands-down one of the best surf camps I've ever been to. The location is perfect--right in the heart of Kuta. The camp itself is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. But the best part of LMBK is the people. Every single person on staff, from management to surf guides to the reception, kitchen, security, and housekeeping teams are the best in the biz. Andrew, Jesse, and Maddy are top notch and you can always find them hanging out with guests and making sure everyone is having their best experience possible. Kyan, Adnik, Harris, Ojeng, Haysin, Dion, and the whole kitchen/bar crew are always cooking up delicious meals and drinks. And they're super efficient during the morning rush when everyone's getting ready for their surf sessions--it's super appreciated to have a nourishing breakfast before heading out to the water! Nuuk, Tommi, Suzi, and Riska make sure everything from check-in to laundry to special requests to check-out go super smoothly for every guest. They're always ready to help with literally anything--and always with a smile! It can be a lot to make sure 40 people have everything they need during their stay, but they make it happen and make it look effortless! Mujib, Eno, Raine, and Ramli keep the rooms and grounds super spotless and beautiful. Everything they do to keep the camp immaculate is truly incredible! All the surf coaches are amazing. In my four weeks at LMBK, I got to learn from pretty much all the instructors, and I had a particularly amazing and memorable experience with a few: Saban: He's the head of surf, and his expertise and feedback is SO incredibly helpful in improving your surf. After every single wave (!!!), he'll tell you what went well and what to do to improve. He'll lovingly roast you when your pop-up is garbage, and he'll help you make it better with extremely precise and insightful feedback. Adul (Saf): Saf is a ball of pure energy! His style is so dynamic and fun, you can't help but have a great time when you're in the water with him. And while he definitely has a fun-loving vibe, he takes his job in helping you improve really seriously. He will give you great, encouraging feedback after each wave, and he'll make sure you have a ton of fun while you're sending it!!! Ali: I surfed with Ali a few times and he's such a calming and encouraging instructor. You can tell he has a super high degree of emotional intelligence and will meet you where you are to help you have a great surf. During one session, I was getting absolutely smoked, and he helped me get my confidence back and catch some good waves. Win: Win is super energetic and fearless. He helps you feel like you can conquer any wave and laughs with you when maybe you don't catch that perfect wave you thought you would. I had one of my best sessions surfing with Win and felt absolutely on fire because of his encouragement! Toyib: Toyib is the master at finding waves that are perfect for you. I'm a lover of small but spicy waves, and he helped me catch some of my best waves at my beloved Tanjung Aan. And he's dedicated to making sure each and every time you surf, you feel like you've accomplished your goals and have a great time while doing it. If you're reading this, book your trip to LMBK!!!!
