Thank you for another incredible week! This was our second time at LMBK and it was just as fabulous as our first stay last year. They have nailed the formula for fitting as much fun, surfing and amazing hospitality into a really affordable and comfortable package as humanly possible. We always make great friends, improve our surfing and come away with unforgettable memories. Every staff member from the reception (Susie, Tomi & others I’m blanking on the names but they’re all legends), all the kitchen staff making delicious breakfasts and coffee, and our surf guides who went above and beyond (Ade, Ronnie, Win, Eyden, Ajar and Bahri). I had a great experience with this surf school in Lombok. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, and everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. The instructors and staff made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I have very good memories from my stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn or improve their surfing in a positive and supportive environment. My time at LMBK was a full immersion — in the ocean, the people, and myself. It truly felt like a surf intensive, but light, supportive, and fun. I came to learn and improve, and I’m so happy to say I did — especially reaching a point where I’m now doing cross steps, which feels incredibly empowering for me. What made the experience even more special was how empowered we felt as students. The instructors genuinely believe in you. The way they guide, encourage, and trust the process makes all the difference. I absolutely loved Leam and Salim — their presence, teaching style, and energy in and out of the water were inspiring. The whole LMBK team is incredible. Beyond the warmth and care, the level of organization really stood out. Everything flows smoothly — schedules, surf sessions, logistics, communication. It’s honestly the best and most well-organized surf experience I’ve ever had, which allows you to fully relax and focus on enjoying and progressing. I also loved the partnerships LMBK has — training at a beautiful gym and practicing at a stunning yoga studio added so much balance to the experience. Having surf, strength, and yoga integrated in such thoughtful spaces made the whole journey feel complete. The days were simple and full: boards in the car, shared wax, lots of smiles, amazing food, and even fresh coconuts always available. Those little details made everything feel deeply nourishing. LMBK was a confirmation for me — that surfing can be about joy, confidence, connection, and presence, not pressure. Such an incredible week at LMBK Surf House. I’d never surfed before coming here, and the team was amazing at helping us build confidence while still challenging us to improve every day. It’s a super chill environment, but I actually learned so much. Big shoutout to Toyib, who was so patient and full of great pointers, and Jon, who helped us kick off the week perfectly with the beginners’ session. The surf lessons were great, but what made it even better were the sunset trips and extra activities — we got to see some stunning parts of Lombok I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The vibe is relaxed but really social — I met some amazing people and made great friends. It's located in such a key area in Kuta, easy walk to all shops and restaurants too, and the rooms were so clean and comfortable.
