Located in the center of Kuta, Lombok, our beautiful property is an oasis of calm to recharge, relax and connect before a full week of surfing the best waves in Lombok.
We are the first to combine a surf-focused accommodation for experienced surfers and run a fully comprehensive surf academy side by side. For far too long there has been a disconnect between beginners and more advanced surfers.

Every day you will have the opportunity to surf with our world class instructors.
There will never be more than two students per instructor and we create groups based on skill level, so you will always be surfing waves suitable for your skill level and surfing goals.

Throughout the week, our guides will instruct you in and out of the water, with coaching, surf theory lessons, and photo analysis reviews. Whether you’ve been surfing for years or catching your first wave, our goal at LMBK is to set you up for future success and increase your overall confidence in surfing.
Community and fun are at the heart of everything we do at LMBK. We strive to bring people together around the sport of surfing, but we also hope you experience everything that Lombok has to offer! Share a meal and meet fellow travelers at our family dinner before heading into town to explore the local bars and restaurants.

Our weekly schedule allows free time to explore Lombok and all it has to offer, including stunning coastal view points, pristine beaches and pumping waterfalls.
Many of our guests are return visitors or referrals from past guests. This is the highest compliment our community has given us.

Andrew’s connection to Indonesia started in 2017 when a 3-month holiday turned into 2 years abroad, 30 plus countries visited and a deep love for both Indonesia and surfing. Andrew’s commitment and passion for LMBK can be felt and seen. You can usually find him drinking a coconut around LMBK or in the surf. He loves to surf any location on any board at anytime. His passion and joy for surfing always allows him to have a good time no matter what the conditions.

Originally from the East Coast of Canada Maddy has called Indonesia home since 2018. Maddy’s professional background in hospitality paired with her passion for surfing makes her an excellent fit for LMBK. You can find Maddy in her office or surfing in Gerupuk. Maddy strives for excellence in everything she does and continues to improve the quality of the LMBK experience.

Growing up in Indonesia’s Biggest city, Mika decided to trade traffic for tides and fell in love with surfing and island life back in 2019. Surfing has been his daily fuel ever since and that passion keeps bringing fresh ideas to LMBK. You’ll spot him in the yellow jimny with his surfboard or rolling into the lineup with a big smile.

Originally from a small island herself, Nicole made the move to Lombok in 2023 — and her island mindset fits right in with the LMBK family. You’ll often find her behind the camera (or phone), capturing the fun and chaos around camp — or out in the baby breaks, having a blast on her longboard. With a passion for photography and all things creative, Nicole brings fresh energy to the team. Got an idea or question about content or visuals? She’s your go-to!

Operations Manager
Originally from a Mediterranean town in Spain, Pablo’s love for surfing first brought him to Indonesia as a guest at LMBK. After several trips back to Lombok, he eventually made the move in 2026. Surfing has been a big part of Pablo’s life for over 10 years, and along the way he developed a passion for photography and video. You’ll usually find him somewhere between the office, the lineup and the gym. Ask him anything about surfing and he’ll take it from there.

Also known as “the nicest man in Lombok”, Wanwan is always welcoming at LMBK and around town. He knows everything there is to know about Indo culture and local fare so don’t hesitate to ask him any questions you might have. Daily Breakfast
Here at LMBK, we serve hearty and healthy daily breakfast made to order. Breakfasts include smoothie bowls, breakfast wraps, crepes, eggs your way, and more.
Full Surf Package
Included in the surf package is daily breakfast, guided surf instruction, daily coaching, photo analysis, board rental, transportation for surfing (boat and car), surf theory, surf recovery yoga, surfskate, surf fit class, and a family dinner. Within the package, 3 days per week we surf twice a day and 4 days per week we surf once a day as we have other activities. Please see our weekly schedule so you can see how we plan out our days.
Guided Surf Instruction and Coaching (max 2 students per coach)
There will never be more than 2 students per surf coach in the water and we create groups based on skill level, so you will always be surfing waves suitable for your skill level and surfing goals.
Board Rental
Included in your stay is board rental. We have many different boards sizes, types, and shapes, ranging from shorter performance boards to 9’2 single fins. Please keep in mind our collection is more suited for beginner – intermediate surfers. We do have some shorter performance boards here, and we will try our best to find the right board size for you during your stay here. Board rental is also included if you would like to do free surfs on your own during your stay here as well (not included for free surfs on your own are guide, transport, and boat).
Transportation for Surfing (car and boat)
Transportation to the surf locations is included, we will take you to all the surf spots in a car. And most locations here require a boat, only a few we can paddle out. But don’t worry, the boat is included too.

Photo Analysis
On Thursdays and Sundays, our photographer will capture photos during your surf session. Later in the day, we will conduct a surf photo analysis, where we’ll review the surfing photos taken during the day on the big screen.
Our coaches will provide feedback, highlighting areas for improvement and offering encouragement for your strengths.
This process aims to reinforce good habits and boost your confidence for future sessions.
Surf Briefing
On the day of your check-in, irrespective of your surfing level, we will host a brief meet-and-greet and orientation session in the evening.
During this session, we will discuss your surfing background, goals, appropriate board size, surfing etiquette, and safety protocols.
For beginners, this orientation will also encompass a beginner surf theory lesson, including pop-up theory.
Surf Theory
On Monday evenings, we offer surf theory lessons, divided by skill levels (beginners-advanced beginners and intermediate-advanced).
These sessions will cover various topics, including how to catch your own waves, paddle technique, and the opportunity to practice duck diving in the pool.
Surf Recovery Yoga
Every Friday afternoon on our weekly schedule, we have surf recovery yoga. This session is designed to assist you in stretching out your tired muscles, teaching you surfing-specific stretches that you can incorporate into your routine at home, and providing a relaxing experience.
Family Dinner (Wed & Sat)
Every Wednesday and Saturday we have family dinner here at LMBK. The menu varies, but it will be an assortment of different dishes served buffet style. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements, and we’re happy to make adjustments as needed.
Surf Fit Class
Every Tuesday we offer a surf fit class at the nearby gym, Loka. All these exercises and stretches we perform in the class are designed to translate to better surfing in the water. Whether you’re a beginner surfer or advanced, you’ll get something out of this 30-minute workout that you can come back to again and again. At the end of the class, we will also perform a breathwork exercise to prepare for a wave hold down. Please also see our blog post which is based on this class that you can do at home before your stay to help you prepare for your stay with us.
Surfboard Insurance is Included in Your Booking
Surfboard insurance is included in your booking price at LMBK. All surfboards and equipment at your disposal are in good condition and under your responsibility. That means that LMBK will carry the cost of the repairs for your total stay here, whether it’s a tiny ding, lost fin, or major repair. Any damage will be immediately and professionally repaired.

Housekeeping | Laundry Service
Included in your stay is daily housekeeping. Personal laundry service is not included, but we can help you arrange this. Please drop your laundry at reception, the price is dependent on the weight of your laundry (kg), and whether you choose standard or express cleaning.
Luggage Storage | Early Arrival
Our check in time is from 2 PM and our check out time is from 12 PM. However, your room may be ready earlier, please check with our reception team upon arrival. If you arrive earlier than your check in time, we have luggage storage where you can keep your belongings until check in.

We also have family dinners twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Our kitchen is closed for other lunch and other dinner times, but our bar is always open!
Grab a cold coconut, kombucha, or Bintang any time of the day.
For other meals, we are located in the center of Kuta, close to many popular cafes and restaurants or cafes within a short walking distance. Or too tired from the surf? You can order in!
