Gili Trawangan

Gili Trawangan, is known for its bustling nightlife and diverse range of activities, Gili Trawangan attracts surfers who enjoy a mix of adventure both on and off the water. 

The main surf spot on Gili Trawangan is located on the southeastern coast and is known to locals as “Secrets.” This right-hand reef break offers two peaks suitable for different skill levels. When the swell is
medium-sized, it provides a good spot for beginners near the end of the reef. More advanced surfers will appreciate the outer break, where the wave takes off with a fairly easy start before jacking up into long,
hollow walls perfect for barrel rides. On bigger days, this wave can become a serious challenge. 

Gili Trawangan’s waves work best at mid to high tide, with optimal conditions during north-east or light winds.
